Dance class will introduce students to fundamental hip-hop technique and teach students the latest hip-hop movements that are legendary in the underground hip-hop club scene. The goal of the day-long conference to provide dynamic and interactive opportunities for Hunter College School of Social Work students and faculty to critically explore race and gender, and gain concrete skills to apply to their work with youth, adults, families and communities. The day will be filled with workshops around anti-oppressive social work practice, but also self-care workshops on dance, yoga, etc.
